Honest questions
Is it really free to submit an event?
Yes, completely. No cost to submit, review or publish. We don't have a paid plan for organizers or paid spotlights. Algarve Atlas does have a premium subscription for end users (interactive map, AI Trip Planner), but that doesn't affect how your events get published.
How long until my event goes live?
Typically 24 to 48 hours. We review every submission by hand and email you as soon as it's published. If it's a very last-minute event, mention it in the description — we'll try to fast-track.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one. It lets you track review status, edit or remove the event afterwards, and submit more without re-entering your details. No mandatory newsletter.
Can I edit or remove it after publishing?
Yes. Your profile shows every submission. Small changes (description, time, image) go live immediately. Date or location changes may go back through review. Removal is instant.
What events don't you accept?
We don't publish purely commercial promotions (product discounts, launches without an event component), private content without an open audience, or content that breaks our community guidelines. When in doubt, submit anyway — we'll explain the decision if it's rejected.
