Lecture: The increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is the main driver of climate change. However, the increase of atmospheric carbon dioxide also alters the chemistry of the oceans, as it dissolves in the sea leading to its acidification. The decrease in pH and the increase in ocean temperature are having an impact.
