Lagoa Conventual Sweet Show

The Municipality of Lagoa invites all lovers of traditional sweets to dive into the sweetness of our history at the 22nd Lagoa Conventual Sweet Show.

The initiative allows visitors to taste cakes, sweets, jams, honey, or classic drinks like medronho liqueur, in a faithfully recreated conventual atmosphere.

This event celebrates the rich gastronomic heritage of Portuguese convents, with special emphasis on the secular recipes that marked the cultural identity of the Algarve region.
