Mediterranean Diet Fair

In September, the historic center of Tavira transforms into a large open-air stage to celebrate a heritage that belongs to everyone: the Mediterranean Diet, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since December 4, 2013. The Mediterranean Diet Fair is a vibrant and multifaceted event that invites discovery and sharing. Along the banks of the Gilão River and in the squares and streets of the city, visitors find an authentic Mediterranean showcase.
