Exhibition “Maestro of the Landscape”, by António Viana Barreto

The exhibition commemorating the centenary of the birth of António Viana Barreto presents a small showcase of the vast work of one of the most significant figures in Landscape Architecture in Portugal. Organized by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Portuguese Association of Landscape Architects, and the Center for Studies in History of Arts at the University of Évora, the exhibition brings together diverse examples of his work, highlighting his pioneering contribution to the creation of innovative technical solutions and the development of scientific methodologies applied to landscape suitability analysis.
