Palm Weaving Workshop

Palm weaving is a traditional and artisanal art deeply rooted in Algarve culture (southern Portugal), consisting of braiding the leaves of the dwarf palm (Chamaerops humilis), also known as broom palm. This centuries-old technique transforms dry leaves into long flexible strips, which are then sewn to create durable and functional objects. The workshop will be for a group of 8 people who will learn and create a piece to take home.
