With talks in Portuguese and English (with live translation), the event offers bold ideas, meaningful connections, and new perspectives. The 2026 edition will explore the theme of change, inspired by the transformation of the caterpillar into a butterfly. Change is everywhere: in nature, science, technology, societies, and within ourselves. It is constant and often inevitable.

The theme “Metamorphosis” was inspired by the natural world. There is a little-known fact about caterpillars: less than 2% of them actually transform into butterflies. The transformation is demanding, uncertain, and never guaranteed. This same pattern repeats far beyond nature. Scientific advances, social changes, cultural transformations, and technological progress go through unstable phases before something new can emerge.

Free parking: The Cultural Center of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking in the Frente Ribeirinha park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for the audience of their shows/events. To receive this discount, users must present, at the park's reception, a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Cultural Center of Lagos or the entrance of the Municipal Library of Lagos. The offer only applies one hour before and up to one hour after each show/event.
