Sinédoque

Evoking the stylistic figure by which "the part for the whole" or "the whole for the part" is expressed, the show "Sinédoque" revisits and reinvents the works of Portuguese poets from the 20th and 21st centuries, including Alexandre O’Neill, Ruy Belo, Tiago Rodrigues, and Margarida Vale de Gato.

A century and a half after the golden period of the art of "Song" and "Melodrama", pianist João Vasco created works for recited voice and piano, and actor Ivo Canelas performs his poems.
