Popular Saints

Over several weeks, traditional popular fairs will bring life to different parts of the municipality, with outdoor dances, musical entertainment, and popular marches that promise to engage the community and visitors during one of the most emblematic times of the year.

The celebrations will take place at Praça Marquês de Pombal and in the Hortas, in Vila Real de Santo António, in the western area of Monte Gordo, at Largo Manuel Cabanas in Vila Nova de Cacela, and on Rua da Nora in Manta Rota.

In these spaces, popular dances will once again take center stage, bringing music, entertainment, and socializing to residents and visitors throughout the month, featuring various artists, musical groups, and popular marches.

With free entry, the Popular Saints reaffirm themselves as one of the most anticipated moments of the festive calendar of the municipality, promoting socializing, popular culture, and the preservation of local traditions.
