Sand Series of Beach Tennis

The Praia da Rocha hosts the Sand Series of Beach Tennis from June 1 to 7, one of the most important tournaments in the world circuit of the sport held in Portugal.

Part of the official calendar of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the event brings to Portimão some of the biggest names in international beach tennis, transforming the city into one of the global centers of the sport during a week of high-level competition.

Among the highlighted athletes will be the Italian Mattia Spoto, the current world number one, the French Nicolas Gianotti, the Brazilian André Baran, as well as other great names like Michele Cappelletti, Daniel Mola, and Giovanni Cariani. In the women's sector, some of the best athletes in the world will be present, including the Brazilian duo Sophia Chow and Vitória Marchezini, the world number one duo in 2026, and the Italians Giulia Gasparri and Ninny Valentini.

With free entry, the event promises a week of great sporting spectacle in one of the most emblematic settings of the Algarve.
