Sea to Fado, with José Garrancho
View original eventSource: CM Portimao
There are men who carry an entire city within them.
In the sixth episode of Sea to Fado, we sit down with José Garrancho, a guardian of Portimão's memories, from canning factories to the growth of tourism.
A conversation that intertwines stories, connects previous episodes, and reveals what time has almost erased.
“Sea to Fado” is a new program by Júlio Ferreira, Paulo Filipe, and Ruben Arnaut, which invokes the sea, fado, and marafado humor to celebrate the stories, identities, and affections that define Portimão.
Recorded on video and transformed into radio and podcast, “Sea to Fado” is a space where monthly, Portimão is felt, seen, tasted, and lived.
Broadcast on the Municipality's social networks and YouTube Channel HERE.
