Stories of a Time That Escapes Memory

A concert that celebrates the Portuguese legacy and brings together the Community Choir and the Algarve Orchestra again. The program features three compositions by contemporary Portuguese authors, starting with Arrayollos by João Nascimento, an orchestral tribute to the Alentejo village and its traditions. Following are the Danças Portuguesas by Tiago Derriça, which situate us in the landscapes of the south, including a vigorous corridinho algarvio concluding this score by the young Portuguese composer.
