Active Holidays+ Summer 2026

The 🎨Active Holidays+ Summer 2026🏓 will take place from July 6 to August 28 and is aimed at children and teenagers aged 6 to 15 years (born between 2011 and 2020). This year's edition includes three phases of registration, with the 1st phase starting on May 18 at 10:00. Only applications made online will be accepted, through the Municipal Portal in Active Holidays+ Summer 2026 Registrations. As last year, there will also be the possibility to register for each fortnight on a Waiting List for the filled fortnights. This project stands out for integrating, in a consistent and articulated manner, the social, cultural, recreational, pedagogical, and sports dimensions, considered essential for the comprehensive development of children and young people, contributing to their personal, social, and sports training. During school breaks, three structural constraints in the lives of children and young people are identified: Difficulty for families in reconciling professional life with the need to ensure proper supervision and care for their students; Break in personal and social routines, evidenced by the distancing from peers in the school context, as well as, in some cases, from other pedagogical and sports contexts that suspend their activity during this period; Interruption of physical-sporting routines, resulting from the absence of activities such as physical-motor expression, physical education, school sports, and associative sports, which tend to accompany the school calendar. This circumstance contributes to the decrease in physical activity levels and the consequent increase in sedentary behaviors. In order to mitigate the identified constraints, the Municipality of Lagoa promotes the Active Holidays + project (Summer and Easter editions), providing participants with access to a diverse set of activities, namely: Multisport experiences; Thematic walks; Exploration and appreciation of points of interest in the municipality; Contact with local associations and clubs; Structured moments of recreation and socializing. The activities are developed under the supervision of qualified technicians, and in certain cases, partnerships are established with other institutions in the municipality, thus ensuring the quality, safety, and diversity of the offered activities. Active Holidays+ Summer 2026 Rules Registrations for the 🎨Active Holidays+ Summer 2026🏓 will start on May 18 at 10:00 on the Municipal Portal. Groups will be divided into 3 age groups: Children born between 2018 and 2020 Children born between 2015 and 2017 Children born between 2011 and 2014 As last year, registrations will be conducted in phases: 1st Phase – From May 18 at 10:00 to May 25 at 09:59; 2nd Phase – From May 25 at 10:00 to June 1 at 09:59; 3rd Phase – From June 1 at 10:00.
