Exhibition "Rare Lands"

"Resulting from the Open Call and Artistic Residency Rare Lands, promoted by Associação Alfaia in partnership with the Municipal Galleries of Loulé, the exhibition brings together artists Tiago Leonardo and Vicente Sampaio in a critical reflection on the materials that support the technological present and their invisible implications. Starting from the so-called 'rare elements' of the Earth's crust, the show proposes a look at the tensions between progress and devastation, exploring ecological, political, and social impacts.
