Exhibition | Dialogue with Camões texts and illustrations On the Route of Art

The Municipal Library of Lagoa hosts the exhibition that brings together the participating drawings, including the winners, of the Illustration Contest 𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁 2025/2026, inspired by the winning texts of the Literary Contest 2024/2025, dedicated to the theme 𝗗𝗶𝗮́𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗼̃𝗲𝘀.

The contests are cultural initiatives that take place annually and are organized by the Lagoa Library Network, which includes the Municipal Library and the School Libraries of the Municipality of Lagoa. They are initiatives aimed at students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd cycles, and secondary education, with the main goal of promoting and encouraging the art of storytelling and creative writing, as well as artistic talent through original drawings integrating literature and the arts.

The exhibition, with free admission, will be on display in the Children's Room of the Library from June 1 to 8. It can be visited from Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
