On May 13, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the lecture "From Text to Grammar: Differences Between European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese" will take place in room 1.36 FCHS, presented by Samuel Figueira-Cardoso, a lecturer at the University of Warsaw.

Biographical Note: Samuel Figueira-Cardoso is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies at the Faculty of Modern Languages of the University of Warsaw, where he obtained his PhD in Linguistics. He holds a master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Porto and a degree in Letters from the Federal University of Western Pará and the University of Algarve. He coordinates the Research Group Iandé: Languages and Brazilian Cultures, affiliated with the Faculty of Modern Languages of the University of Warsaw. His academic work focuses on the interfaces between text and grammar, theories of text and discourse, and processes of reference in discourse. He also conducts research on oral narratives of Traditional Peoples and Communities and on indigenous cultures in Brazil. We invite all interested parties to participate and thank you for promoting this initiative.
