Reading Club for Parents and Children "Little Story Creatures" (babies from 9 to 36 months) June 17 | Wednesday | 17:30
At the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, we believe that it is never too early to discover the power of stories. The Reading Club "Little Story Creatures" was created with parents and babies aged 9 to 36 months in mind, offering a space for sharing, discovery, and tenderness where books are just the beginning of many adventures. During this magical phase of development, each word, sound, and gesture is a seed that helps language to bloom. Contact with stories, music, colors, and textures stimulates the natural curiosity of the little ones and strengthens the bond between the reader and the listener. The sessions invite families to immerse themselves in sensory experiences where books, objects, and unstructured toys awaken all the senses. These moments are designed to play, feel, explore, and grow together. Come be part of this journey of affection, where reading is much more than deciphering words – it is living stories with the heart.
The sessions take place biweekly and last approximately 40 minutes.
Target audience: babies from 9 to 36 months, accompanied by a maximum of two adults Registrations: biblioteca@cm-loule.pt (fully booked | waiting list)
