"I was condemned to hear the permanent echo of a shot I did not paint," says Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes in this novel by Patrícia Portela, written from his painting "The Executions of May 3, 1808." A portrait of those who execute and those who are executed in a Europe that remains, to this day, trapped in a time of war.

Free parking - The Cultural Center of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking at the Riverside Front park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for the audience of their shows/events. To receive this discount, users must present, at the park's reception, a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Cultural Center of Lagos or the entrance of the Municipal Library of Lagos. This offer applies only one hour before and up to one hour after each show/event.
