Alameda Celebrates

From May 29, 2026, to June 7, 2026

Between May 29 and June 6, the Alameda Garden in Faro hosts "Alameda Celebrates," a program of free activities for the entire community that includes Faro Jovem, Children's Day, World Environment Day, and Alameda Viva.

For over a week, the space transforms into a meeting point dedicated to creativity, learning, and socializing, with proposals for children, youth, and families, including shows, workshops, sports activities, circus entertainment, games, exhibitions, and environmental awareness actions.

Faro Jovem opens the program (May 29 to 31) with activities dedicated to youth, innovation, sports, and entrepreneurship. Following is Children's Day (June 1 to 4), with a set of playful and educational experiences promoting citizenship, inclusion, and sustainability.

On June 5, World Environment Day stands out with ecological awareness initiatives, workshops, and educational activities focused on nature protection. The closing takes place on June 6 with Alameda Viva, dedicated to intergenerational socializing, with music, dance, crafts, and community entertainment.

With this initiative, the Municipality of Faro reinforces the appreciation of public space as a place for meeting, sharing, and active community participation.
